Systems Delivery Leader


Reporting to the Project Design & Implementation Leader, you will be a member of a motivated leadership team, focused on leading a team of Engineers who are responsible to deliver Engineered to Order (ETO) SwitchGear/DMC projects.You will use your excellent customer service skills and natural curiosity to understand process, system and talent gaps across the region, and work closely with your counterparts and customers to implement innovative solutions to support the organisation’s objectives.

Success will rely heavily on you bringing to the position:

  • Experience in leading an engineering team to execute customers’ orders

  • Experience in building capability in people and process, including customer satisfaction, channel readiness, training and development programs

  • A customer centric focus with a high level of integrity

  • Drive integration with other regions:

  • Engineering linkages with the UK, ME and North America teams;

  • India Design Centre ensuring efficient and effective use of this remote resource for hardware and software design

  • Scheduling of projects and manufacturing with the Global team

  • Management linkages with all global teams

  • Support in launch of new products in the region from the manufacturing partner

  • Provide Commissioning and Remote Site Support

  • Managing the external vendors and internal manufacturer

  • Product quality, schedule, pricing etc.

  • Drive Improvements in Processes and Products to increase quality:

  • Improve product documentation so remote service organizations can easily and reliably diagnose product issues;

  • Improve vendor processes to increase product quality and eliminate defects in products at customer sites

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on business performance to defined metrics.

  • The ability to build strong business and customer relationships, influence outcomes and bring people together around a common purpose and goal

  • Strong analytical skills and a deep curiosity to understand issues



  • A Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent; MBA will be an added advantage

  • At least 10 year(s) of relevant working experience in Power Generation / Electrical Equipment industry and 5 year(s) of management experience

  • Track records of developing a high performing team

  • Good understanding of Switch Gear Panels and/or control Systems

  • Six Sigma trained or exposure would be highly advantageous

  • Strong communication skills and comfortable working with stakeholders from different regions

  • Good Microsoft skills
