Under minimal supervision, coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management.

Warehouse Inventory Control - Manages physical inventory utilizing inventory control methodologies to maintain inventory and meet customer expectations.

Trade Knowledge Application - Applies knowledge of relevant trade regulations to Cummins processes and systems to minimize trade risks and costs.
Mode Selection - Evaluates and selects appropriate transportation mode and equipment type by lane through shipment volume analysis against business requirements to provide optimal shipping method (balance cost, quality and time).
Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
A two year University degree from an accredited program in Business, Engineering or a relevant field of study preferred.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.
Responsible for daily targets: e.g. productivity, stock availability, dock to stock lead time management etc.
Possess continuous improvement initiative and project execution follow up
Resolve staff management issues (Conflict and Tardiness etc.) and escalate to management when necessary
Drive Safety Initiatives and Right Environment Culture for the team
Handle operations system and process issues on the SHOP floor
Manpower management (Overtime, E-time System etc)
Coach and develop team members
Work and support Operations Manager on identification of training needs for team member
Conduct daily meeting with team members to cascade down priorities and information and address operation issues.
Diploma in any discipline with a continuous improvement mindset
Demonstrated previous supervisory or team management experience with at least 3 years working experience in logistics operations
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office application
Forklift license is a must
Highly developed analytical skills with ability to see big picture
Demonstrated skill in time management & prioritization
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
Excellent verbal communication skills, confident in public speaking
This role is a 2nd shift role
