Sales Territory Manager

Description

Thinking beyond your desk includes:

  • Maximize business growth for Cummins Generator products for the SEA market by promoting superior products and value packages, which meet or exceed customer expectations

  • Provide leadership and management to build Delivery Partner’s capabilities

  • Develop, execute and track DAOP initiatives

  • Assess effectiveness of distribution channel from time to time to meet business targets

  • Review credit standing of Delivery Partner and new customers

  • Assess new market/potential. Pursue key prospects, negotiate, support potential leads

  • Make business review trips within the country and submit summary reports

  • Coordinate, participate and/or lead seminars and trade shows

  • Feedback customer comments to respective departments and follow-up on NPS survey

  • Review commercial contracts – Distributor Agreement, tenders etc.

  • Manage marketing promotion and VOC activities

  • Involve in Strategic planning process to prioritize growth

  • Participate in “Deep Dive” on growth initiatives and market research project

  • Analyse measure and track competition & distribution performance

  • Interface with Technical staff to understand and to interpret product requirements

  • Address and communicate technical issues internally & externally

  • Administer Goodwill claim

  • Technical & Product presentation and training

  • Support Finance with periodical planning, forecasting and reporting requirements

Qualifications

  • Engineering diploma/degree or equivalent with >5 years of business experience in industrial powergen products such as switch gears, transformers, or diesel engine industry.

  • Strong leadership and resulted oriented

  • Able to work independently, prioritize and develop initiatives

  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and work cross functionally

  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Application software skills, especially MS Words and MS Excel

  • Ok with 25-40% travel
