Cummins Inc. Payroll Analyst in Singapore, Singapore
We are looking for a seasoned Payroll Analyst to join our team Singapore. Reporting into the CBS HR Services Manager, you are responsible for the maintenance and development of new payroll processes and systems to optimise payroll processing. This role currently has joint responsibilities for 6 entities, Cummins Asia Pacific, Cummins Sales and Service, Cummins Generator Technologies, and Cummins Power Generation as well as our managed payrolls for Indonesia and Thailand.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Provide advice and recommendations on payroll best practices
Be an advisor to the business in strategic and tactical payroll matters, such as changes in legislation, taxation matters, retirement (central provident fund), retrenchment and periodic reporting for government schemes such as the Singapore Job Security Scheme (JSS).
Review payroll processes, and provide input/recommendations to management for improvement, enhancement and streamlining
Streamline our current processes, so that we can expand our service lines into other regions
Participate and provide input in developing process efficiencies and assist in integration projects related to acquisitions, new systems, etc.
Key business partners will be local and regional line HR, global mobility, entity and CBS finance, global compensation and benefits teams and HSE
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
At least 5 years’ experience in a Senior Payroll analyst role with a continuous improvement mindset
International Payroll experience (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia & Thailand)
Experience in driving and implementing change – systems or processes
Ability to communicate complex payroll concepts to a diverse audience
Ability to identify when data and analysis is materially incorrect, and obtain solutions
Demonstrated working knowledge of relevant payroll and related legislation and Acts
Ability to coordinate tasks, set priorities and operate independently and work across borders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
