Sales Executive - Power Generation


Managing relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally, will be key to success in this role.

  • Manages and develops customer relationships to achieve sales goals within an assigned sales territory or account in a business to customer environment.

  • Sells company products and services by developing new prospects and accounts.

  • Achieves sales targets and ensures customer satisfaction.

  • Develops relationships to generate customer goodwill and loyalty.

  • Supports negotiations according to company guidelines.

  • Identifies, researches, and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.

  • Responds to customer concerns about the company and its products.

  • Drives utilization of Cummins tools and processes (i.e. Customer Relationship Management, Customer focus Six Sigma).



  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent)

  • 3 years of relevant sales experience in Powergen, rotating equipment or building & controls environment

  • Good understanding of the Commercial segment; classification, engines, parts, safety requirements, etc

  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on business profit

  • Ability to negotiate sales to order placement while taking into account the companies objectives and customer’s needs

  • Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings
