Sales Executive - Power Generation
Managing relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally, will be key to success in this role.
Manages and develops customer relationships to achieve sales goals within an assigned sales territory or account in a business to customer environment.
Sells company products and services by developing new prospects and accounts.
Achieves sales targets and ensures customer satisfaction.
Develops relationships to generate customer goodwill and loyalty.
Supports negotiations according to company guidelines.
Identifies, researches, and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
Responds to customer concerns about the company and its products.
Drives utilization of Cummins tools and processes (i.e. Customer Relationship Management, Customer focus Six Sigma).
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent)
3 years of relevant sales experience in Powergen, rotating equipment or building & controls environment
Good understanding of the Commercial segment; classification, engines, parts, safety requirements, etc
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on business profit
Ability to negotiate sales to order placement while taking into account the companies objectives and customer’s needs
Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings
