Working cross functionally within different disciplines, the role will also be required to build effective rapport with internal teams.
Managing relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally, will be key to success in this role.
Manages and develops customer relationships to achieve sales goals within an assigned sales territory or account in a business to customer environment.
Sells company products and services by developing new prospects and accounts.
Achieves sales targets and ensures customer satisfaction.
Develops relationships to generate customer goodwill and loyalty.
Supports negotiations according to company guidelines.
Identifies, researches, and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
Responds to customer concerns about the company and its products.
Drives utilization of Cummins tools and processes (i.e. Customer Relationship Management, Customer focus Six Sigma).
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
2 years of relevant sales experience in After Market, spare parts & equipment
Good understanding of the Commercial segment; classification, engines, parts, safety requirements, etc
Proven track record in developing strategies and strong ability to drive programs for the market
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on business profit
Ability to negotiate sales to order placement while taking into account the companies objectives and customer’s needs
Excellent communication skills & ability to form working relationships with customers, staff & work peers
Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings
Familiarity with the local code of practice
Independent, proactive, and willing to shoulder new responsibilities
